Get ready for an epic night of movie magic! The Super Bowl LX is upon us, and it's not just about the game; it's a showcase for Hollywood's biggest blockbusters of 2026. But here's the twist: this year, some major studios are sitting this one out!
The Big Game, Big Hollywood Moment
The Super Bowl is a prime time for movie studios to unveil their most anticipated trailers, with some of the industry's biggest names vying for attention. However, Deadline has reported a potential shift in strategy, with Marvel opting to hold back on additional footage for Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Additionally, Netflix, Apple, and Warner Bros. are reportedly not joining the trailer party this time around.
Despite these no-shows, there's still a treasure trove of trailers to look forward to. Star Wars enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting a glimpse of The Mandalorian and Grogu, while other highly anticipated films include The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, and a Michael Jackson biopic.

Supergirl: Krypto Steals the Show
Although Warner Bros. won't be advertising during the main event, DC has given us a sneak peek at Supergirl, which premiered during the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. This 47-second TV spot shines a light on Kara Zor-El's superpowered pup, Krypto, and hints at their final days on Krypton. In between shots of the canine hero, who made his DCU debut in 2025's Superman, we get a taste of the film's action-packed scenes.
Supergirl hits theaters on June 26, 2026.
Hoppers: A Beaver-ful Adventure
Pixar's Hoppers was one of the first trailers to drop for Super Bowl LX. The 30-second commercial reminds us of its unique storyline, where a person transforms into a beaver, and introduces us to a menagerie of other creatures, including snakes, birds, lizards, ants, turtles, and dancing frogs.
Hoppers, another imaginative creation from Disney and Pixar, will swim into theaters on March 6, 2026.
Disclosure Day: First Contact
Disclosure Day is almost here, and we got a sneak peek during Super Bowl LX. The second trailer for Steven Spielberg's UFO movie intensifies the action without giving away too much of the story. We see Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colman Domingo, and Colin Firth caught in a world on the brink of extraterrestrial contact.
Catch your first glimpse of a UFO in Disclosure Day, hitting theaters on June 12, 2026.
